Message	Japanese motorcycles used to use philips head screws extensively; and the only way to remove them was with an impact driver which destroyed the screw/bolt. I was told that the manufacturers wanted the screw bolts replaced if they were ever removed, (like replacing previously torqued head bolts..). I agree though a total PITA and the Japanese still use them extensively...
